faith

Time to work on another old draft.
From some time in October last year, I think.

On life’s journey, faith is nourishment.
Virtuous deeds are shelter.
Wisdom is the light by day,
And right mindfulness protection by night.

Faith is an interesting one you know.
Faith in what?
What do we have faith in?

I once had a conversation in which I said I have faith in Love.
Love as the force of Universe.

The positive, creative force.

I remember this conversation actually.

And I still stand by this.
And also, we need to have faith in ourselves.
So much faith.
In what we're doing, in what we want, in how we see the world.

Faith.
A strong force, at the same time, empty.
It's the potent void.
Kinda magical.

Oh I don't know.
All I know is that we need it.
Faith as a thing, as an emotional capability.

And we can also have faith in each other.

My thoughts are scattered, but I'm getting somewhere, in general.
I want to have faith in Life and the Universe, always.
I don't ever want to lose faith in myself.
And I want to keep having faith in those around me.

I'm seeing some of the holes in my being that still need to be filled.
Some things have gone unnoticed and we need people to point them out in the most unexpected ways.
I have faith in analysis.
Finding the new pathways.

All change is scary, at least to me it is.
So having faith in something gives me some stability, gives me a sense that the wheel will keep turning, that some processes carry on, always.

We must keep our pack.
They are worth their weight in..I don't know, something far better than gold.
Our pack will help us See Clear, lick our wounds when necessary and let us sleep for a while by the fire as the rest keep guard at night.
And when you wake up, the pack will still be there, steady as the sun and moon.

Keep your pack, keep your head, keep your heart.

And take excellent care of yourself.
Because I mean very very bluntly put - if you won't, why in the name of the 7 seas would anyone else on the entire planet?
So therefore, lady up, and do it.
Show the rest of the universal system how to do it, how to Love you, how to Care for you, how to Give you what you need.

Give yourself nurture, body and mind, and feed yourself well, and sleep, and move, and educate and inspire yourself.

I'm still only halfway to learning how to do this, really.

Losing yourself in another person is ridiculous.
There, I've said it.
Now all there is to do is to love (and live) by it, for life.

All any Tree needs is good and stable soil, space, warmth of the sun.
Life is like that.
It is idiotic to go looking for some magical wisdom from any further than that.
Look at a tree and Think for a moment.
Let it sink in what you see and it's crazy how much the external world teaches us.

It's hard to stay blind to it here, in Estonia.
The weather does what it wants, we just run, panting, after it.
Trying to keep up, like chasing a young hotheaded mistress.
The Life/Death/Life cycle so clear on display it's almost funny.

The year of the Horse began today.
Happy Horse!
It's said that things get terribly pacy when the horse is in motion.
So apparently those who know how to plan their time have "won" already, even before the bell is rung for round 1.
I plan to keep this in mind.

And so, good night, darlings!
I am going to sleep, dream well, and then wake up happy.
I like this thought.

Love, as always, to you all!!!
Yours truly.

steady

The power of rocking steady.

I'm getting my bus at 10am tomorrow.
RIGA-TLN.

Next week is going to be so so interesting.
So many challenging things, so many new things.
But I will tell you more once I reach my laptop.

For now, I'm watching Poirot in bed.
I sat in a rehearsal today, Wagner, which I don't usually like.
I did today.

I'm mellow and relaxed and balanced, I think.

Have a really good evening.
Yours truly.

ce soir

Tonight literally just hammered, and I mean, HAMMERED-hammered-hammered in, the message from last night.
Like, violently, hammered, screwed it in, nuts and bolts and all the hardware.

The Doing.

It's getting to a point where this is making me so frustrated.
This idea, this idea of not doing.

Apparently I've got pretty eyes.
That was really nice.

Theatre.
And life, and art.
And thoughts.

And competing.
And understanding.
And accepting.
And all the things.
All of them.

I just want to be what I see and know I can be.
Because of the deafening mundane-ness.

My problem has been - solo in the sandbox.
Well then f*ck me - don't be?!

Don't waste the partners.
Seriously.
Seriously.
Seriously.

Learn, and evolve.
And make smart analytical decisions, please.
Reason, and discover.

Empty sandbox or fascinating sandbox?
Surely this is what moves me, improves me, challenges me.
Tantalises, tickles and teases.
Seriously.
Surely?

What do I choose?

One frustrated cat.

In other news, tonight was so awesome.
Here's a photo from the set.
Super.
The future is now.

And I'm not going to wish love and light.
I'm going to wish, the productivity to make yourself shine.
Shine, shine, shine.

Yours truly.

turn it into

There was this thing somewhere - "Don't dwell on the past, but turn it into art."

I have been creating somewhat lately, or at least I don't feel uninspired.

But still, I feel, there's so so much room, for more.
So many things I want to do and so so many things I want to accomplish.

So many ideas that are kind of there, but kind of not.
Seedlings.

But hey, can't rush stuff.
It gets there, when it gets there.
And I'm not brave enough to talk loudly of not-even-new-born ideas.
But soon.
I'd love to talk about these things, out loud, soon.

For now, keep creating.
And I'll do the same.

Yours truly.

tuesday

I've been very useful today. So I give myself a point!

And we've got an awesome awesome Tuesday planned! (Since it is my last official day. OH. MY. F*CK.)

AEM and I are gonna get up at 7AM and go to town for breakfast. We've got a table for 8.30 at this place http://www.gordonramsay.com/bread-street/
And I'm so going to have eggs benedict. Ahhh, eggy B, my old friend. (And probably some pink grapefruit.)

Then we're meeting J. at the Barbican tube station around half 9 to go to the Barbican for the Rain Room installation.
Rain Room is a hundred square metre field of falling water through which it is possible to walk, trusting that a path can be navigated, without being drenched in the process.
http://random-international.com/work/rainroom/
It looks absolutely incredible. Apparently the queues are like crazy (3-4 hours) so we're getting there an hour and a half before it opens. We're going armed with boardgames (connect-4 and battleship which I love) and I'll need a can of Sprite I think.
And then AJ is joining us a bit later.

Once we've seen the Rain Room and got our minds blown to particles AEM and I have some errands to run, after which it's PANCAKE DAY!
Since it's Shrove Tuesay it's time for some Pancakes. For the 5th year in a row I'll be making the pancakes. The thing is I don't really like eating them, but gosh, do I love making them.
And then we're going to the cinema to see Django.

And then I'm going to sleep, think some good thoughts and not freak out.
I keep swinging from loving everything and everyone to being so scared and anxious to back to this total sentimental love again. It's much like a rollercoaster, honestly.

But this is where I have to give credit to the girls at home, E., the pretty one, K. for their unfaltering excitement at my return and being so positive. Otherwise I just couldn't go through with this. So I'm just taking a moment to be grateful.
And of course, A. who's like a brother, a sister, a pet, and a grandad all rolled into one.

Here's to shifting yourself.
All my love.
