sthlm

So far we've been pretty excellent with our checklist.
We have done coffee, walks, pasta and plenty of chats.

And we have now also seen Aragorn on the screen.

Tomorrow we visit the cinema to stare at Thor and his hammer.

I am almost calming down.
Almost.

Earlier on I managed to explain to A. that I feel "fragmented".
It's this relentless working passion that I have, and I'm proud of.
But at the same time it means that I get caught in it very very easily.
So the lesson remains - taking breaks.
Learning to understand the importance of breaks.
And just unashamedly taking them, when needs be.

Because all we have, till we die, is Ourselves.

Yours truly.

15 days till HK

So this is how long I have left of September that I will actually spend in Estonia.

What.

Therefore I'm just going to re-cap some ideas from August.

And remind myself that I promised to get some stuff done before I leave.
And I truly plan to take this rather seriously.

I want to get balls rolling in September, so I can coast along in October.
This leaving-things-undone is giving me some anxiety and that is stupid.
So therefore, get all balls rolling in September.

Ie, 15 days.

Doable.
Tight, but doable.
Focus.
The perfect exercise in focus.

First of all, tomorrow morning, I need to get cat food.
And after that, the rest can follow.

15 days.
Of focused.
And measured.
Productive.
And effective.
Action.

I, too, wish to be effective.

Yours truly.
M.

Affairs. (...IN ORDER. I've postponed sorting a whole bunch of stuff, since I am still of course the self-proclaimed Queen of Procrastination Nation. However, since I'm increasingly getting fed up with this title it's really time to turn over a new page. And re-titled myself, something like, Crown Princess of Productivity? Anyway, you get the general idea.)
Acceptance.
And goes out for everyone else as well as myself.
Plant alllll the seeds of acceptance, that you are worthy.
Of all the good stuff there is in the whole wide world.
We deprive ourselves of the chance of success and succeeding so often, saying "we can't do it anyway", even before we've made the first tiny step.
So please, you, and you, and me as well. Let's accept ourselves for exactly what we are and accept the fact that we are worthy, of all the good.
Appreciation! Of yourself, of what you have. Appreciation and gratitude are too things most useful and most beauty-making.

Earn your own approval.

Stay close to anything that makes you glad you are alive.

I would really like a shower room like this.
I love doing stuff!
Efficient Maria.

And a full English the following morning.

bread exchange

and the Wonderful, Wonderful Malin.
http://thebreadexchange.com/

This is another one of my blog recommendations.

Malin is this Swedish young woman, currently living somewhere in Germany. And basically, she started this project called the Bread Exchange.
She started making bread just for banter at home, but as she was trying out so many new things and experimenting a lot she had loads of left-over bread, which she started giving to her friends. Her friends in return would give her...little things, whatevers, homemade jam, or write a poem, or offer to fix her bike.
In short, this grew into a network of people involved in the Bread Exchange.

It is so simple.
Malin makes bread. Posts where she will be (she travels a lot with her job) and then people can set up a meeting with her.
Malin will bring bread.
In return, you can make her or give her anything at all, whatever you want.
Everything, except money.

Her blog is a wonderful wonderful mix of her journey and the journey of Bread Exchange, with awesome photos from her travels.
And Malin herself comes across simply as a truly wonderful being.

"Everything is not for sale."

v-day

Or Friends' Day! As it is known in the Nordic parts of Europe.
Cherish your friends and hug them loads.

We had fit breakfast today, and it was fit.
I stayed at E's place and we got up at 7am which translates to me as 5am London time. It was so much fun! I do like early mornings once I get up for one. And also, I must say, I'm exhausted right now. The past 3 nights have held no sleep so I'm really deprived.
Hopefully I'll shift back into a normal-ish structure with tonight.

Head Sõbrapäeva!

LDN-STHLM-TLN ✈

Packing.
Packing.
Packing.

But seriously, it's 9:25pm, and I'm not far from being finished. Which is unheard of. So I'm improving and for that I've awarded myself this blog-based break, in which I shall also eat, to then carried on. But point for me, woo!

Today was a great day.

I will, however, write more about all this soon, since it is 2:18am all of a sudden.
I'm packed, washed, and dried, and ready to get a few good hours of sleep.

Fly, fly, fly.

Also, mega soz for the extreme concentration-face - i was just finding it very hard - apparently - to get the hair into the photo.
But yayyy my DIY-bleaching sessions (yes, there were two) paid off, at least I'm really pleased.
Ps, microwaved olive oil, rubbed into hair/dry ends does help.
Goodnight!
